Plan Your Stay
Getting to Thailand
Practical information on flights, airports, and transfers. We handle the logistics so you can focus on your recovery.
Easier Than You Think
Travelling to Thailand for a therapeutic retreat may feel daunting, especially if you are already feeling fragile. We understand this, and we have made the process as straightforward as possible. Many of our guests have never been to Thailand before, and all of them have arrived safely.
We provide a comprehensive arrival guide once you book, and our team is available by phone or email at every stage of your journey. You will not be navigating this alone.
Travel Essentials
Flights to Thailand
Most international guests fly into Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). Direct flights are available from London (11 hours), Sydney (9 hours), and many US cities (15–18 hours). Budget airlines also serve Don Mueang Airport (DMK) for regional connections.
Airport Transfers
We arrange your transfer from the airport directly to Silkworth. You do not need to navigate public transport or find a taxi. A member of our team or a trusted driver will meet you at arrivals.
Visa on Arrival
Most Western passport holders receive a free 30-day visa on arrival (extendable to 60 days). For longer stays, we help you arrange the appropriate visa before departure. See our visa guidance page.
Best Time to Travel
Thailand is warm year-round. The cool season (November–February) is the most comfortable. The hot season (March–May) is very warm. The rainy season (June–October) brings afternoon showers but rarely disrupts daily life.
A Note for Anxious Travellers
If the idea of a long-haul flight feels overwhelming, you are not alone. Many of our guests feel the same way. We can discuss strategies for managing travel anxiety, and we are always available by phone during your journey.
The flight is the hardest part. Once you arrive, we take care of everything else.
