1:1 Counselling

A minimum of three one-to-one sessions each week with your dedicated counsellor — tailored to your needs, adjusted to your pace, included at no extra cost. Your counsellor stays with you from arrival to departure.

EMDR Therapy

A gentle, evidence-based approach to processing difficult memories and experiences. EMDR helps reduce the emotional charge of the past, creating space for calm, clarity, and forward movement. Particularly valued by those healing from trauma.

Group Sessions

Optional, facilitated circles where residents share, listen, and connect in complete confidentiality. There’s something uniquely powerful about healing alongside others who understand — fellowship becomes its own form of medicine.

Mindfulness & Meditation

Daily practices drawn from Buddhist contemplative traditions — breathwork, walking meditation, seated meditation, and nature-based mindfulness. Practical tools for calming the nervous system and developing inner steadiness, made accessible regardless of your background or beliefs.

About EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a widely recognised, evidence-based therapy originally developed for trauma. It uses guided eye movements to help the brain reprocess distressing memories, reducing their emotional intensity and allowing you to recall difficult experiences without being overwhelmed by them.

EMDR may be particularly helpful for:

  • Processing traumatic or distressing memories
  • Reducing the emotional weight of past experiences
  • Building greater calm, clarity, and resilience
